Pedal Games for Zwift

Wouldn't it be great if you can make Zwifting fun by rewarding yourself on the good efforts? When was the last time you can feel good for hitting the targeted wattage streak on Zwift?

Introducing a brief demo of Pedal Games that compliments Zwift, making it meaningful, fun and rewarding by achieving goals visually during your rides.

The app tracks the live data from the user's current Zwift session, translated into various data overlay modes to motivate the rider based on these categories of riding formats:

1. Short Attacks

  • Attack - Target wattages to score

  • CounterAttack - Normalizes High Power efficiency

  • Power Streak - Staying above the target power or lose your score

2. Spinning Sessions

  • Spin - Set average power to score

  • Spin Class - Timer starts once above target cadence rate

  • Spin Streak - Staying above the target power or lose your score

3. Longer Averages

  • Average Student - 30 seconds rolling average

  • MasterClass - Double of an Average Student at 60 seconds

  • Timed Test - Using 30 seconds average to accumulate points

4. The Bands

  • In the Band - Pick your lower and upper limit and rock the zone

5. Riding Ramps

  • The Definer - Score your target wattage and it increases by 1 watt per second above it.

  • Fast Definer - Score your target wattage; target increases by 10 watt after 5 seconds above target

  • Slow Definer - Score your target wattage; target increases by 5 watt after 10 seconds above target

  • unDefiner - Score your target wattage and it decreases by 1 watt per second above it

6. Rest & Recovery

  • UnderWatter - Take it easy staying in the shadows waiting to strike or just being lazy

7. Testing Grounds

  • Calorie Reminder Panel - Calorie reminder based on X number exhausted

  • Highspun - Combination of Attack and Spinning

  • The Velodrome - Sustainable power and cadence based on a gear without shifting

To help readers understand what does the above modes meant, we have looked into what does "Short Attacks" mode can offer to riders in greater detail.

Short Attacks Mode

  • Attack - Scoring based on target wattage to over. Scores will go up for each second you are over the score throughout the ride. The aim is to get a high score and better it with each ride.

  • Counterattack - Normalizes high power to help you improve efficiency and improve Functional Threshold Power (FTP).

  • Power Streak - Remember the movie "Speed"? Go below the minimum threshold and the bus goes kaboom! Rider here has to ride above the preset minimum power wattage to earn a time streak with the best time streak gets recorded. The score will reset once the power falls below the minimum limit. Try beat your threshold limit with each effort.

There is much more This demo is meant to show you what it can potentially do currently. More information will be available once the developers are ready to go public. #pedalgames #gozwift #zwift #Rideon #taichocyclist #ascendersteamsg
