Here we go, holding breath as I start to take apart the wrapping. Cut the tapes gently as the box is just underneath the tape wrap.

Phew! Box intact without any cut to it. Now lets see what is inside.

Some technical and product information at the side of the box. Okay, let us dive into the contents!

Presto! Hah! Manual and a sponge cover to start the ball rolling.

Inside it are the contents listed above.

Right Crankarm (170mm/52T-36T/24mm)

Back of the Right Crankarm

Right Crankarm spider arrangement and powermeter.

Left Crankarm powermeter composite images. Note the crankarm bolt in the content.

Verdict:

I am pleasantly surprised that Magene managed to get my order out prior to the Chinese New Year holiday in Asia. The product looks pretty nice since it is brand new and ready to be installed on my new Eddy Merckx EM525 Disc frameset.

I have a Zitto BB86-24 Ceramic Bottom Bracket to house the powermeter for this build so stay tuned for more updates about the performance and review of both the bike and the powermeter.

Notes: I do not have access to the technical devices or ability to conduct those tests seen on earlier prototype videos on Youtube. This is strictly an unboxing exercise of the final product (supposedly) for backers of the Kickstarter project.
