Game Update Details GTA V or Grand Theft Auto V (5) by RockStar Games has recently updated to version 1.0.2802.0 in mid-December 2022. With this latest game update, it has broken up the Cycling Mod created by Makinolo aka Nestor Matas as it is very specific to the version of the game it was created for.
For instance, the current mod and ScriptHooks are based on version 1.0.2669.14 which will not work with a higher version of the primary game. Hence the community is pretty dependent on the compatibity of both the mod and Scripthook V to work with the base game. Otherwise the only known solution is to rollback the base game to the previous previous version to be compatible. GTA V is a game available on both Epic Games and Steam Games. Personally, I will recommend to purchase the GTA V game when there is an online price discount or special bundle being offered on either site.
Why is ScriptHook V required? The much depended Scripthook V has also been updated this week to version 1.0.2802.0 which will allow the tool to run mods on GTA V. So why is ScriptHook V required? This tool basically allows the player to use GTA V script native functions in custom *.asi plugins. This is an opensource script which remained readily available to anyone who needed it to run the game mods for GTA V.
Included in the update is the Native Trainer which will invoke the mod menus to set up user preferences for their optimal preferences.

Meanwhile I have applied a few mods to change the in-game avatar kit to replicate my real-life cycling club (Ascenders Team) and also used the Trek Madone SLR 9.0 bike.

Why do I recommend play GTA V Cycling Mod? While the set up is still not perfect as the new CPU system is less than 3 days old and is still being worked on to reach its optimal setup for application use and live streaming, I could not wait to have a go so here is the live stream of my latest ride.
I do not deny it may not be as dedicated as other cycling apps like Zwift, WahooRGT Cycling, MyWhoosh etc. However, given the creative nature of GTA V and its uber realistic environment, I am sure you will agree that the level of immersion will far outdo those dedicated virtual cycling platforms.
